“THANK YOU!”
I’m a few days late, but not so much that I can’t thank all of you who are a part of our Devotional Family and forward what you receive to others. It was August 5, 2013, when the first devotional was sent out to 75 individuals. Today over 1,000 individuals are on my mass email list and once sent, is where the exponential work begins. It’s impossible to know how many folks forward their devotional on to loved ones, family member, and work associates.
Here’s what I do know; several individuals have informed me they forward their devotional to 100 or more people each day. Of course, scores of individuals forward to less than that number, but when others receive them and send it on, it keeps going and going. Folks who are good with numbers have indicated the reach most likely is 100,000 or more people. Because of you, people in all 50 states receive these devotionals, and a big thanks to a wonderful lady in Nova Scotia, Daisy Haines, as she posts on a network twice a month reaching well over 100,000 people in foreign countries. A pastor in S. Africa, Job Moka, uses them to teach and train his congregation on a weekly basis.
You are AMAZING people! Little did I know what God would do with the first mailout 14 years ago. YOU have made it grow, and I can’t thank you enough for the kind words I receive from people across the country on a weekly basis. You certainly are terrific “Partners in ministry.” I Corinthians 3:9 describes all these individuals as “God’s fellow workers” and in Philippians 1:5 Paul expresses gratitude for the Philippians “Partnership in the gospel.” Each one of you are an important part of this ministry and it would not be what it has become without your faithfulness. Thank you for caring about others and their spiritual needs enough to pass on words of hope and encouragement. I love you all.
